Medical Weight Loss & Management: Obesity is a complex chronic and progressive disease. Our goal is to improve health and wellbeing using a comprehensive and supportive approach, including behavior, nutrition, and exercise counseling. In addition, anti-obesity medications may be an important tool. Patients interested in our weight management program can email info@elmirahealth.ca for more information.

Medical Aesthetics

Botox® / Nuceiva® are different brands of a class of medication called neuromodulators. These medications are used for both therapeutic and cosmetic purposes. Cosmetically, very small amounts of neuromodulator are injected into specific muscles, causing relaxation. This results in smoothing and softening the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and creases on the face. Consultations are complimentary.

AlumierMD Medical Grade Skincare: the use of quality skin care products is important in achieving and maintaining optimal skin results. Skincare consultations are complimentary. Products are available for purchase in clinic.

Latisse®: this prescription product is used as a lash serum - it’s believed to prolong the active eyelash growth phase. It’s clinically proven to deliver lashes that are fuller, longer, and darker. Latisse® is available for purchase in clinic.

About Me

Megan Dunn, Nurse Practitioner

Hi, I'm Megan - mom, wife, friend, daughter & Nurse Practitioner. I have been practicing as a nurse for over 12 years. After completing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2011, I registered with the College of Nurses as a Registered Nurse. I worked in the hospital setting for 8 years, primarily in adult ICU and ER. I also spent time in the NICU, gaining valuable experience caring for postpartum women and their newborns.

I completed a Master of Nursing degree with Primary Health Care certification in 2019. Highlights of my clinical training included working at busy family practice seeing patients of all ages and working alongside a midwife providing prenatal, postnatal and newborn care. Since registering as a Nurse Practitioner, I have been working in the primary care setting, with much of my continuing education focused on women's health. I look forward to using the knowledge and experience I have gained over these years to increase accessibility to health services that I am passionate about.
